Our Mission for COVID-19 Relief
COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the education available in the United States and North Carolina. We seek to do our part in alleviating the educational needs in our country through a variety of course offerings covering topics from SAT Prep to Programming. All proceeds of SMath Tutors will go directly towards the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. The Food Bank has continued to work hard during these times to provide food for those in need. As of 5/13/20, the Food Bank has provided over 31,000 boxes containing 20 meals each to families in need. By donating to the Food Bank and offering courses, we hope to further help with the educational and resource needs of our state. Help Flatten the Curve
As of May 17, 2020, the United States has been able to mostly flatten our curve. In other words, the number of people that are being infected every day has been decreasing. However, even with Stay-At-Home restrictions being uplifted, this does not mean we should let our guard down. There are still over 20,000 new coronavirus cases in the United States every day. Our society should aim to eradicate coronavirus now, so we can all be safe in the future. By promoting online educational means, we hope to continue to push people to practice social distancing so we can get rid of COVID-19 once and for all.
